Our ethical platinum wedding rings are handmade using a 100% recycled 950 platinum alloy. As such, all our platinum rings are disconnected from mining and 100% conflict free. Platinum represents a premium metal choice, cherished for its working properties, durability and rarity.

Our platinum rings and white gold rings are almost identical in cost now. Whilst platinum is denser, so you need around 30% more in weight for a ring of the same size, palladium-rich white gold is more expensive per gram. Platinum is also harder and is generally a more labour-intensive metal to work in, and takes more skill to finish to a high standard. All of these things mean that the cost of making a ring in platinum or in white gold is very similar.
Our metals decrease in strength in the following order: 950 platinum (the strongest) > rose gold > yellow gold > white gold (the weakest). Any metal can be used to make your ring but we recommend giving some consideration to how your lifestyle and/or your job might help to determine which precious metal you should choose.
Yes. All of our engagement rings, wedding rings and jewellery you see on the website can be made in recycled 14ct or 18ct yellow gold, white gold and rose gold or 950 platinum.
