All gold panning equipment will be provided including chest waders, so your packing list should include sturdy footwear to reach the river and good outdoor clothes suitable for the weather.
Lunch and snacks to keep your energy levels up and some fluids to stay hydrated.
Aside of that and any personal necessities you may need, bring as little as possible because the gold panning equipment you’ll be carrying will occupy a large proportion of the rucksack.
Rendezvous Point:
We will meet in the carpark of the Museum of Lead Mining, Visitor Centre Wanlockhead, Wanlockhead ML12 6UT
