Wow! When we started looking for our dream wedding bands, it seemed like a pipe dream until we stumbled upon Jacqueline & Edward. From the very first inquiry, Mark was absolutely amazing helping us through the process, and patiently responded to all of our (many!) emails. We used one of their ring designs as a jumping off point, but with a few modifications. To make sure the rings were absolutelythe right fit, they sent us a box of plastic rings to make sure that we picked the right size which is an amazing idea as we could wear them around for day to make sure they were the perfect fit (turns out my engagement ring is a few sizes too big! That's what happens when you quickly try on an awkward ring sizer after a brisk walk on a hot day ...). Stellar service, affordable, ethically sourced and most importantly; just drop dead gorgeous final product. I'm so happy that we've been able to tie such a pleasant experience to something we'll carry with us every day. Thank you so much for your wonderful work! I ordered my wedding ring from Jacqueline and Edward and I am so pleased with it. I loved all the different ways you could customise the ring (provenance of gold, engraving, band width) and the fact they also plant a tree that you can dedicate. The service was impeccable - they were really quick to respond to any emails I sent and were very friendly. I'd highly recommend using them!

The creation of my very special ring made this such a wonderful experience. I felt my ring and what is symbolised was really important to the people making it and the whole experience fills the ring with very precious memories. The craftsmanship (actually womanshift!) Is superb. Far better than anything I've experienced elsewhere. It fits me perfectly, two attempts at sizing really pays off. The presentation box, made from wood, reminds me of how many of life's treasures nestle in our trees, rocks, earth, seas, rivers and of how our custodianship of such wonders needs to be respectful. So, before I really start to wax far too lyrical, if you want a first class, reasonably priced, respectful of your wishes and the world that produces them experience, look no further. Save up your pennies and just do it. You won't find better anywhere and you certainly won't regret it.

Amazing. I would have never found the perfect engagement ring if it wasn’t for Jaqueline & Edward. I found the site while looking for bespoke rather than mass manufactured options with sustainability at its core. From first contact with Mark I felt assured this was the right place. Mark made the process relaxed, enjoyable and engaging. He was also great at educating about the selection of metals and stones, both from practical and ethical/sustainability point of view. I visited the workshop with a few ideas, a couple of mood boards and an open mind, and had a very gratifying session with Mark bouncing ideas back and forth. Mark was excellent and working through my (sometimes nebulous) ideas and how to integrate it into the design Mark’s communication was great from start to finish. He sourced the perfect salt & pepper diamond while conceptualising the final design. The final result was 100x better than what I had wished-for and my partner now has a little piece of art to cherish forever We will be going back to Jaqueline & Edward for our Wedding bands; and this time plan to pan for some of the gold that will go into the rings!

Jacqueline & Edwards created 2 custom made bespoke wedding rings for myself and my husband. The whole experience was 10/10 and we now have lovely memories every time we look at our rings. The added touch of giving something back in regards to trees being planted with the proceeds from the ring sales is an added plus. I would defiantly return back should i like any further bespoke jewelry made.

I found Jacqueline & Edward on-line. I was looking for someone who could create a one of a kind engagement ring for me to present to my partner Kelly, simple and elegant. I spent ages researching different people and decided on them for multiple reasons; 1. Selection and styling of rings on the website 2. Felt like I was being treated personally and not just "another" order. 3. Quality 4. Value for money 5. The environmental/ethical side of the business. Use of used precious metals and stones. The planting of a tree as part of each order. 6. The use of panned gold from different rivers and countries, making each order unique and meaningful. I had regular updates on status. When the engagement ring arrived I was blown away by the styling and finish, exactly what I was hoping for. AND She said yes. Based on this first experience, we both agreed that we would ask Jacqueline & Edward to make our wedding bands. We had 2 special requests. We wanted to have the same textured finish as the engagement ring and I asked if it would be possible to include a wedding band of my mums into the melt for mine. The answer to both, was YES. The first stage was so so simple. We were sent sizing gauges in different widths and thicknesses, and an impression kit so the hammered finish could be matched to the engagement ring. Once we had done the impression and confirmed ring size and width, it was all sent back in the postage paid envelope along with mums ring. As our wedding is not until December 2022, we were in no rush for the rings. So in late June this year, we had an e-mail to say the rings were being assayed. Before the melt mums ring was weighed and the spot price of its gold content was deducted from the ring cost. Last week the rings arrived and we are over joyed at the quality and finish, not that I expected anything else. I know that if you choose Jacqueline & Edward you will not be disappointed. It is hard to put in words the joy that we had when we put our wedding rings on, on the ceremony! We are enjoying them every second! But this is now and I want to tell you the full story. My husband’s sister recommend this place to us. We had a call and amazing tour through their working place. After the call we immediately realised that it is exactly what we wanted! We are both living in London but it didn’t make the process complicated. Each ring is special but mine is definitely one of a kind. It was made based on the photo and they helped me to make it perfect and special! We got it right in time! The size was measured with a kit that this company provided and was perfect! Gold is so beautiful and shining! Highly recommended! They are really the best!!!!

We bought our wedding rings from Jacqueline and Edward. We have been very impressed with the service we have received - We opted for the remote sizing service, and a remote engagement ring contouring service, and as a result we have two perfectly sized rings, one of which sits beautifully next to my engagement ring. We also loved that the metals were recycled and significantly better for the environment, and that the rings are handmade. We love our rings and can't wait to wear them.

A browse on the internet to find hammered textured wedding rings lead me to the website of Jacqueline and Edward. Packed full of detailed information this excellent website impressed so much that my partner and I made the trip from Aberdeenshire to Yorkshire to meet up with Mark in the workshop. With a previous working knowledge of jewellery and having made my first gold wedding ring many years ago, the consultation turned out to be a really enjoyable experience and I can’t thank Mark enough for the amount of time he spent with us on a very wet January day. It was a real joy to discuss all things metal and it certainly cemented our decision to have our ethical wedding rings made by Mark and his team. We both chose the Barr hammered finish, yellow gold for my partner and my white gold ring was made to curve round the baguette shaped diamond of my commitment ring. I also chose a platinum plain band to wear as a spacer between two special rings my partner had previously given me. I was especially pleased that our wedding rings were hallmarked in Edinburgh, a nice reminder of my art college days and we were really happy the bands incorporated river gold from the Ochil hills, my territory, and Yorkshire river gold for my “god’s own country” partner. The company’s support for the regeneration of the Caledonian forest and the artisan made ring boxes were really the icing on the cake. This talented team show real attention to detail and their passion for their craft and genuine customer service is second to none and definitely worth its weight in…. As a footnote, our outdoor wedding attended by close family on a gloriously June sunny day by the river Tay was pretty perfect and knowing that we have a bond with other happy couples that have delighted in their choice of ring maker just adds to our beautiful memories.
