After looking around what appears to be the globe for a jeweller I could trust with an expensive budget I stumbled across mark. From start to finish, countless emails of me pestering him, the service has been second to none. Initially apprehensive with diamond choice I was guided through the process perfectly. My wife & I were very happy with the service we received, and the rings are of fantastic quality and unique. We visited the workshop and had a lovely few hours there, discussing our requirements, seeing how the process works, and petting the wonderful old English sheepdog. My wife's engagement ring was a non generic shape and design, as a result we needed a design to fit and compliment it. We were given all the time and information we needed to make a decision, it was clear that they take great pride in their work and want you to be part of the process and happy with the resulting work. A lovely touch was having the choice of using gold sourced in Yorkshire. The rings arrived on time and are just what we wanted, mine was a little large (My fault) this has now been resized at no cost to me, and returned promptly. The workshop visit was brilliant and Mark was great at discussing designs and coming up with the perfect design for the ring. Liam then made the design a reality - the finished piece is better than I ever could have imagined and I can't wait to wear it from my wedding day onwards.

Where to start, I’ve known Mark a long time before the business began and it’s clear his whole heart and soul goes into making rings. The ethos and environmental consciousness of the company is something to be proud of and I know the team at the workshop throughly enjoy their work and it shows. We don’t have our professional photos back yet but even photos on a phone shows how amazing they are. We went in on a budget and an engagement ring which means a lot to me but also a very odd shape and Mark did everything he could to make our rings something we’ll hold dear for life. The gold and shape matches my engagement ring perfectly which no shop bought ring ever could. My partners ring is a mix of different precious metals fused together through the Mokume Gane technique with inlays of wood and it’s honestly one of the most beautiful rings we’ve seen. The craftsmanship shins through and I don’t think you’d get the level of personal touches, services and expertise anywhere else. We’d like to thank Mark and the whole team who worked on them for making rings that will last in our family for generations to come and the process of buying them something we’ll always remember fondly.

We purchased our wedding rings from Jacqueline & Edward and the experience was great. We used their ring sizing service but weren't exactly sure what profile would be most comfortable (court or D-shape) but they were happy to send us both to try in a different sizes. The rings are beautifully made and presented in a lovely box that we used as part of our ceremony. After the wedding, I was finding my ring uncomfortable but they were brilliant at resizing it (to a narrower band) for me and working with me to ensure the perfect fit. We are both very happy with our rings and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

It's a bit nerve wracking ordering a wedding ring online but my ring arrived today and I couldn't be happier with it. I wanted to buy a wedding ring from somewhere that aligned with my values and J&E fit the bill, using recycled gold and several options for ethical diamonds (we chose lab grown). Being able to choose to add some river gold from a place that has meaning to you is very special. It feels great that I've been able to support such a wonderful small business and I'm sure we'll be back to buy my partners wedding band too as we are so happy with this ring!

We decided to buy our engagement ring from Jacqueline & Edward because we really liked their ethical approach and the fact that we could add gold panned from rivers in the areas we grew up in. We visited the workshop and met Mark, who really knows his stuff, he talked us through the whole process and helped us design the perfect ring. A few weeks later, the ring arrived and it was perfect, Mark and Max nailed the brief and we couldn't be happier with it. We also loved its handmade wooden box. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend J&E, the whole process was great and felt more special than picking a ring from a high street shop.
