After a few months of constant research, we found the perfect place to have our rings made. One of the best things were, we got to pan for our gold first in one of our favourite places, Scotland. After panning our gold with Simon (absolutely amazing experience - even in the rain) we booked to go to the workshop (in our home county - Yorkshire) and see how the rings are made. The workshop feels homely with a family story, but well worked in. We then went on to design our rings with Mark. Mark listened to our ideas and nothing seemed too much trouble and we never felt rushed. We were kept informed throughout the whole process by Jacqueline and others too. What we love about Jacqueline and Edward is that they are a local business, the skill set and expertise in ring making, their ethical values and utmost care for the environment. We loved the tree planting programme. Our rings made us cry happy tears when we opened them, they far exceeded any expectations we imagined and you can visibly see they are made with care, quality, character and perfect craftsmanship. They are very personalised and totally unique to us as a couple. We felt that this was a magical, memorable journey that we will remember everytime we look at our rings. We are so proud to have something made by such skilled, amazing people. Our rings hold two special places in our heart, Scotland and Yorkshire and we couldn't have asked for anything more amazing than that. We couldn't be happier with our engagement ring from Jacqueline and Edward. They took the time to explore the different options, and were happy to modify one of their existing designs to make it more personal for us. The final ring is beautiful and fits perfectly. We are so pleased with everything, from the initial enquiry to the finished wedding bands. We went to their studio in Wetherby, and spoke with the very knowledgeable Luke. He was great, we left knowing exactly what we wanted with his guidance. So cool to be able to see the workshop. Ordering was easy and smooth. We safely recieved the rings and they're perfect. Very highly recommend this company, defo visit their studio if you can too!
