Your Gold Panning Experience

What does the day include?

• Meet your guide at the Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum at 9.30am.
• Follow in convoy to the panning location.
• Park up and then stroll up the Glen to find a good panning spot whilst learning how to read a river.
• Spend a couple of hours learning how to pan and hopefully finding your first flakes of gold;
• A few more hours of panning in the afternoon;
• Head back to the car at 4pm feeling tired, happy and hopefully with some gold.

What if you need to cancel or move the date of your gold panning experience?

We understand plans can change. Please read our cancellation before booking your experience with us:

Cancellation of your gold panning experience must be made 3 months before the date of your scheduled trip for a full refund. If you cancel 2 months before your scheduled trip you will receive a 50% refund. For bookings cancelled within 1 month of the scheduled trip, no refund will be given. This is because we are unable to fill this slot again within this short timeframe.

You can request to amend the date of your gold panning experience by giving us at least 2 months notice before the scheduled date of your trip. We will do our best to accommodate your requested alternative dates. Only one confirmed amendment can be made to your booking.
