Our Trees for Life Partnership

Love is like a tree, it grows of its own accord, it puts down deep roots into our whole being.

We care deeply about preserving the beautiful world we live in. Giving back is important to us – and it’s the reason the team here at Jacqueline & Edward has teamed up with Trees for Life – a charity which is working hard to replant the native Caledonian forest in Scotland.

This not-for-profit organisation continues to expand a wild native forest across the Highlands, providing space for wildlife to survive, while also helping communities thrive. It’s a wonderfully eco initiative and one which we’re sure you can understand our excitement about partnering with.

Trees For Life is 20 years into a 200 hundred year vision – and we wanted to lend a hand to the fantastic work they’re doing. So from the profits of every order, we’ll plant a tree within our very own grove.

The best bit? You can dedicate the tree to someone special, whether that’s you and your partner or someone else close to your hearts. If you’re planning a natural wedding, you could even consider encouraging your guests to make donations to the charity, in place of buying a gift.

About Trees for Life

Trees for Life is a multi-award winning conservation charity. For over 25 years they have worked with thousands of volunteers to rescue the Caledonian Forest and the wildlife that calls it home.

From small beginnings, Trees for Life has planted nearly two million trees towards our long-term vision to save a habitat of global importance.

Trees for Life works in three ways:

1. Saving the forest: planting native trees, nurturing seedlings, helping propagation and encouraging forest regeneration.
2. Giving a helping hand to wildlife: reintroducing missing species, such as red squirrel, to the wild forest.
3. Inspiring people of all ages and abilities to be involved in re-wilding to improve their wellbeing and develop new skills.

Beyond Tree Planting

Perfectly complementing our ethos, our partnership will also see us use some of the area’s fallen branches to continue making our environmentally friendly wooden ring boxes for our handmade engagement and wedding rings. We believe Trees for Life is the ideal match for our family-run wedding ring business.

The Jacqueline & Edward team will be paying a regular visit to the forest to ensure we do our bit towards a more sustainable future.
